Particularly, the two guys charged with filling the void left by the fallen Aaron Schobel’s absence are still playing like they did when he was around, namely expecting him to pick up their slack. Unfortunately, their failure to realize Schobel is watching means the attack...

Probably in the next couple years. What's the point, their's no one out there to replace them. Ellis is probably a bust, no great DE will be really available in free agency and if we draft one, newly drafted DEs make about as much impact as WRs in their first year in this league (none).
So Bills fans have to pray that Schobel comes back 100% next year and that Ellis gets serious about his profession, gets heavier and quicker and is ready to go at NFL speed next year. That's about it. This team is what it is at several positions and simply has to get better with what it has. No silver bullets in the NFL especially in the losers bracket.

Please don't insult my intelligence and say we could sign Julius Peppers. No chance in hell they let him go. They'll either sign him or franchise him. And please don't say Haynesworth, that's not happening either.
