It’s official: Bills’ Parrish is more PR than WR

Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills’ Roscoe Parrish is a punt returner who sometimes catches passes. That’s not where his career his heading; rather, it’s where his career is and will be, as he’s been unable to show in any of his four seasons that he can be a credibly consistent threat on offense. His catch and a half per game in 2008 seems at first glance like...

Parrish is an elite punt returner, it seems to me that some of his best returns have been called back do to penalties. Does anyone know how if he has a 50 yard return called back because of a penalty how that affects his average?

With Parrish we really don't know if it his him or the fact that the Bills just throw him a 2 yard pass and expect him to make the first guy miss. With his speed you would think the Bills would try and get him deep or use a pick to try and free him up. The big question is; is it the inability of the coaching staff to use his talents or is it Roscoe?

Gadget. Roscoe turned exactly as predicted by the stupid pundits.

Parrish was the 55th player chosen in 2005, and was the Bills top draft pick (their 1st round pick went to the Cowboys). The Bills had traded their 2005 1st round pick to the Cowboys so they could move back into the 1st round of the 2004 draft to steal J.P. Losman off the board.

The Chargers got the terrific wide out Vincent Jackson with pick #61 in 2005.

An incredible comedy of errors.

How long does it take to recover from such a deadly blunder? Forever.

And some people wonder how the Bills can stink for all these long years. The Bills don't even have a head to stick up their ass. They are now, and have been a lousy joke.

I think one problem with Roscoe as a receiver is his size, he struggles getting off the line of scrimmage when he gets jammed. So, they should try to do more with him in motion so that it is more difficult to jam him at the line of scrimmage. As long as he doesn't cost too much, he is worth keeping on the roster .
