Buffalo Bills
It’s a different Bob Sanders. The Buffalo Bills hired former Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Sanders as their defensive line coach earlier this week, a letdown to those who thought they somehow nabbed current Indianapolis Colts safety Sanders to pair with Donte Whitner and inflict devastation upon every offense ever. I'm pleased that the Bills found some one of Sander's stature to coach their defensive line. I think it was Bum Phillips who said coaches are hired or born to be fired. Sooner or later it happens to most of them. Even Shanahan and Gruden were fired this off-season and they are both Super Bowl winning head coaches. So I don't worry too much about Sanders being fired as the Packers defensive coordinator. It could have been a case of the Peter Principal or it could have been he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Either way if he was considered good enough to be an NFL defensive coordinator he certainly should be qualified to coach the defensive line. I like this hiring more than if they'd hired some college assistant coach I'd never heard of to fill the position.

Sounds like he fits right in with the rest of the loser coaches the Bills have on staff.

Some guy on buffalorumblings.com did an analysis of safeties drafted in the first round. I knew Donte was not making big plays but this article will make you sick to think how ordinary his play really is.
