Boldin would, likely won’t improve Bills

Buffalo Bills
Every idea proposed during the NFL offseason must be considered in terms of what a team should do versus what they will do. For one, receiver Anquan Boldin wants to be traded away from the Arizona Cardinals, and it would work perfectly if he was traded to the Buffalo Bills; nonetheless, a good idea doesn’t always develop into a good reality. The...

Boldin is still going to be a bird--but a bigger bird---the national bird---an EAGLE.

Bills management is hiding under their desks trying to avoid this one. No way they would approach Ralph with thoughts of paying another receiver big $$$$$.

Poor Buffalo has been beat down again. They just cracked the annual "10 most miserable places to live" list by placing 8th joining such beautiful destinations as Detroit, Flint, Stockton, Modesto, Cleveland, Memphis and a few others. I predict a meteoric rise to #1 in the year following Ralph's death and the departure of the only thing that keeps the city in the National conversation, our Beloved Buffalo Bills.

From a fantasy football perspective the idea makes a lot of sense. Looking realistically at the team the point is moot. EVEN IF Ralphie spent the jack on this guy to bring him in it wouldn't be a good fit. Boldin, Fitzgerald, etc are guys that want to be on a team with a profilic passer who can make all of the throws. This includes throws to WRs in stride and down field.

No matter what we offer Boldin or any other free agent WR in the way of monitary compensation they realize that signing with the Bills might ultimately make them less money. Without the QB to get the WR the ball their numbers go down. After their contract with the Bills is up, then what? Now they are looking for another contract and have no numbers to support their demands.

I am hoping against hope that somehow we will be able to lure Houshmanzadeh from the Bengals as we did Takeo Spikes but I realize it's probably a pipe dream.
