Garcia, someone like Garcia could actually harm Bills

Buffalo Bills
Jeff Garcia changes teams about as often as he changes calendars. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not offer him a new contact, meaning his near-annual decision on what furniture to leave behind in his previous NFL city has begun again. The transient may want to consider making Orchard Park, N.Y., his latest home base if he’s unable to snag another ...

We dont need no stinking Garcia!!

I still dont think having a gun in your trunk ( I assume its a pistol and not an ak-47) should be a felony. Smoking dope in a car with the motor running on a public street with your gangster home boys with a loaded gun in the trunk and putting your self in position to lose your job IS grounds for grand stupitity.

Lynch is gone for at least 4 games maybe more!! Its ok I like Fred better. Bring on XO & let him see what he can do. I also really like Fred Taylor as an alternative.

Bring on the Fred and Fred show!!

You've got to feel sorry for Jeff Garcia. All the guy has accomplished and as the late Rodney Dangerfield used to say "can't get no respect." Here A.B. refers to him as " a reserve who might be a little too good." The guy has been a winner with almost every stop he's made except I believe Cleveland or Detroit? But then who has been a winner there? Yet for all he's accomplished he's never been considered more than a reserve or a place holder until a better QB came along. That said, in principal I actually agree with A.B. this morning. The Bills do need a veteran QB who can be a mentor to Edwards and perhaps play a few games if Edwards is injured. But not Garcia. Garcia is 39 years old. I don't care what he's done, there hasn't been an NFL quarterback who still played well at that advanced age. He's not going to be happy playing a back up to Trent Edwards. He still wants to be a starter. He's a pure West Coast offense quarterback who doesn't have the arm left to play in the cold and the winds of November and December in the AFC East. A few seasons ago he would have been a nice addition to lead the Bills while Edwards learned to be an NFL quarterback. But the team has now invested 2 seasons in the accelerated development of Edwards as their current and future franchise quarterback. It's Edward's time to pass or fail on that education, not to return to the bench for more understudy work. Anyway we all know the Bills aren't about to spend the kind of money for a back up QB Garcia will want so the entire discussion becomes accademic. But what else can you do but have these types of conversations at this time of year?

I'm with Nate. We do need an experienced back-up that knows his place but Garcia ain't the guy. Where's FranK Reich when you need him?
