| I think your looking too far into the TO attitude thing at this point, and past the most important thing right now - The excitement and boost a guy like TO is capable of bringing to the bills offense. He does have baggage there is no doubt about that, but i also think this relationship is unlike anyother that TO has had, and probably unlike anyother that thebills have had. He is a 35 year old receiver who still has at the very least 2-3 years left in the tank, and this year he will be playing for a new contract, and more than likely that contract will come from a team other than the bills after this season. But the point is this year i think he is going to try and prove to people that he can co-exist w/o all the issues, and what easier place to prove that than buffalo. Because in the nfl buffalo is probably as low-profile as one can get. Although i understand that TO will bring the nat'l media to buffalo which i think is a great thing (it's kind of wierd turning ESPN and actually seing the bills talked about), but he also brings playmaking ability that teams have to account for each and every down. I also think that because this is simply a one year deal, that TO knows he is on the chopping block in the NFL, and i think the guys in the bills locker room will not allow their room to split up simply because of one man coming in for one year. I think the current leaders in the locker room will not allow for this and will simply shut him off if TO becomes and issue, and accept this situation for what it is. Which is having a guy come in and try and give this team's offense a boost for a year, meanwhile allowing our younger receivers develop, and hopefully showing them the work eithic of a true NFL hall of famer (like him or not you have to accept his talents). | ||

| It's been funny watching some of the talking heads on ESPN and various other news outlets discussing what the TO acquisition will mean for Trent Ewards and how Trent would react to it. Apparently they aren't as up on current events as some of us are. It was stated in a Peter King article that Trent sent a message Russ Brandon that might have actually got things going. THIS IS A GOOD SIGN FOR EDWARDS. This is one of those intangibles that everyone talks about. The kid will be in his 3rd year in the NFL and starting for his complete second year and he wants to bring in one of the most volatile AND most productive WRs in the game to his town to help his team win. He seems to be saying all the right things and handling things the right way no doubt with some publicist coaching. It shows he's got some balls and wants to win even though he has to know this could be a huge negative for him, his development and potentially Jauron's job. This was the move of a leader. History will determine whether he was wise or a fool. | ||

| I haven't read the articles, but it looks like Bialy is against the TO signing? I may have to re-think my position. | ||
