Buffalo Bills
The NFL has revealed one-sixteenth of the Buffalo Bills’ 2009 schedule, but they didn’t leave off the other 15 games just to be a tease. The team’s placement in the Week 1 Monday Night showcase means the pressure’s on to play like they deserve their sudden attention spike. They better use the 30 extra hours they’ve been given to prepare for the...

MNF vs the Patriots, in their stadium, to open the season. Owens vs Moss, Brady back, Lynch possibly suspended....lottsa drama! This could be an epic win for the Bills, or an epic failure, or anything in-between. Seeing that The Hoodie absolutely owns DJ, and the Bills are....well, the Bills when we play at NE, I see us 0-1 after an exciting close game. Hopefully T.O. will get 6 catches or more so he doesn't go nuts after week 1...

I guess this is how it's going to be. Owens, the second most prolific TD catcher to ever play the game doesn't show up for INVOLUNTARY workouts with a bunch of no name rookies and he gets slammed as a problem. Doesn't AB know he has a television show to star in? Besides I read that he never has shown up for these things and the coaches knew it going in. One thing I have never heard about T.O. is that he is lazy or gets out of shape.

I think this is a great thing for the Bills. There's a good chance that Brady will be a bit rusty coming off of injury. The Pats will have no game footage of the Bills featuring TO prior to the game. The past few years the Patriots have been easier to beat earlier in the season as they shake off the off-season rust (excluding the undefeated season of course). The Bills have tended to start strong and fade as the season wears on, so they are better off getting the foxborough game out of the way early. Unfortunately though, the Patriots have OWNED the Bills for a long time now, the Bills tend to collapse on the national stage and the Patriots home opener is not exactly the least difficult environment to play in. The Bills will need to strike quick on offense (probably a deep shot to TO in their first series) and they will also need to get to Brady quickly, hopefully with their newly drafted DE. Strike fast on both sides of the ball and take the crowd out of it quick and anything can happen. If the Bills fall behind early forget about it though.
