Buffalo Bills
All the Buffalo Bills need to know about Brandon Pettigrew is that he’s a tight end who can catch. Their history of great players of the type reads Ernie Warlick, Pete Metzelaars, maybe Paul Seymour, and that’s it. A quality end who contributes both some protection and many receptions is a necessity for Buffalo squad that has perpetually coped...

Tasteful article title AB...
I think Pettigrew is a smoke screen for the Bills. They will go either DE or LB with the number 11. Unless they can trade down, then they may take Pettigrew as well as a LB or DE (assuming they gain some picks in the trade). It also looks like the Bills could get a first rounder plus for Peters (according to ESPN). That trade seems like a no brainer. You have to give Donahoe some credit there, Peters was an undrafted FA that has developed into worthy of being traded for a first rounder plus an additional pick. Those are like free picks at this point. The Bills would be smart to trade Peters away while his value is still sky high.

Had the Bills not signed TO, I think the prospects of drafting Pettigrew at #11 were pretty high. I fully expect them to draft an OLB with their 1st pick. Remember, they signed K. Mitchell to replace Ellison last year but with the injury to Crowell, Ellison was again forced to be a starter. That spot has to be upgraded. As an aside, how potentially potent could our offense be with a dominant TE. I would gladly spend a #11 pick on a TE who could be an all-pro caliber player for the next 8-10 years as Mike Mayock suggests he could be. No way we should trade Peters. Why trade a great player for the uncertainty of draft picks???? It makes no sense. Just pay the guy Ralph...you hade him on the cheap for 2 years.

If Dickie POO would open up the offense a TE @ 11 wouldnt be a bad pick. But he wont so the Bills pick @ 11 will be Jenkins fCB from OS.

I understand the Bills are very interested in M. Vick if he is allowed back in the NFL. A running QB to fit in that silly ass scheme the Fins run with Brown. Can you imagine the tickets the Bills could sell if they had both Vick & TO. Granted most of them would be to sports writers wanting to see the Buffalo circus.
