Buffalo Bills
It might not be fair to judge last year’s Buffalo Bills draftees just yet. But it’s the only evidence available regarding general manager/marketer Russ Brandon’s record. He won’t be convicted for success based on what this team got from the players he added: The squad didn’t get an immediate surge from his initial class. Optimistically, that...

To sum it up, last years draft pretty much sucked dead moose you know what. i know you have to wait 3 years before you make judgements but AB hit the nail on the head today. Another Fing constant in all this crap, Dickie Poo and MoDick have a big handprint on the drafts. All I can say is more of the same, which means their continuity will continue of being crappy.

Leodis looks like he will be an excellent player for years to come----will he be the first DB the Bills give a large contract too or will he be playing for another team in 4 years.

The Biggest disappointment has to be Hardy contributing very little before being injured and of course Ellis contributing nothing before being injured.

The rest of the 08 class have potential--Corner, Fine, Bell, Johnson and possible Oman. I left Bowen off because I think he will end up on IR again or the practice squad.

How was everyone's Holiday weekend? We had a couple of nice afternoons before the normal afternoon showers hit---Daytona area is still partially under water.

To this point the draft looks very average. In regards to McKelvin, he returned kicks well but I wish he would stop doing that whole "X" thing with his arms after a good return. That gesture was started by "The U" back in the early 90's and just looks foolish today. I was not impressed with his coverage skills outside the KC game. .He's lean, tall, and lanky with a so-called high center of gravity. To me he looks like a long strider and will have diffficulty keeping up with guys that pivot and turn. He likes to play physical especially against the run which is good. Reggie Corner looks to be a decent reserve CB or nickel guy. Fine looks to be a situational player. Ellis and Hardy showed nothing. Who knows about Bell? Maybe it's just me but this draft is shaping up to be lousy. Reminds me of the Eric Flowers- Corey Moore- Leif Larson draft.
