Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards must use mandatory practices to improve on his average grade. His 85.4 passer rating in 2008 placed him in the fat part of the bell curve; what’s disturbing is the way he sank from proficiency to ineffectiveness, ending up looking ordinary overall. Fortunately for him and his team, the fact that he was ...

Should be interesting, as if TE plays well this year, they will be faced with paying him starter QB money, which will be the biggest contract Ralph has ever given out. If you thought the Peters fiasco was hard to stomach, wait until this negotitation happens, with CBA expiring after next season and TE with the prospect of really cashing in, if he plays well this year...

Mornin' 365ers, and feenster,

" He oscillated wildly from game to game... ". Me thinks he meant, 'vacillated'!

But, other than that, an article that echoes what most of us have been saying - time for 'Trance' to get his name back ! He needs to make a name for himself in this league. With a new line and newish '0' weapons and attacks; there are no more excuses.
'DICK' is on his last leg, so, I see 'Turk' and 'Trance' as having a chance to show what they have.
The 'Canton' game should be the beginning of that new attitude !

Two things should happen this year for Edwards:
1. We see if he is a bona fide NFL quarterback...or the BIlls will keep searching for the "QB of the future", (how long have we heard that). With TO on the team, to augment Evans, there's no more excuses for short dumpoff passes. The Bills offense needs to score bunches of points.
2. Trance proves whether he's "durable enough" to be a starter in the NFL.
With a 2009 patch-work O-Line, Trance will get his share of hits in the AFL-east...is he durable enough to put in a full season? Lets hope he can stay healthy.
