Bills won’t export themselves (any further) (for now)

Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills fans don’t have to worry about losing another alleged home game to Ontario, at least not yet. Um, yay? Owner Ralph Wilson claimed in an Associated Press interview that he’s pleased with the Treaty of Toronto’s current terms, and won’t reconsider them for “two or three years.” If accurate, that means the Bills get to be the Bills,...

What an asshole you are, Bialy !

All your "research" neglected the fact that without the Toronto money; the Bills are in real trouble. Wilson re-iterating there won't be more games for a few years takes in account 2 important things. 1st, there will be more Canadian money coming in when they add that game. And, 2nd, any additional games have to be approved by OUR politicians. Facts that, as long as Bialy has been writing about his disdain of those games, he NEVER mentions !

16 replies yesterday by, what, 6,7 gize !?! I doubt, without looking it up in the archives, that you got that total this time last year. Start shaping up and find something besides the obvious to write about !

I have to hand it to Ralph and Co., the moving of a regular season game and a practice game to Toronto could prove to be a very smart move. I hate to see a regular season game go north but it is turning out to be that less is more. I honestly believe that by moving 2 games it has helped keep season ticket sales stay brisk. For a team that hasn't made the playoffs since 99 to have 55,000 season tickets sold is quite an accomplishment. The old saying that Rome wasn't built in day could apply here---it might take years for the Bills to catch on in Toronto but my guess is all that it would take is a couple of back to back playoff years and an exciting offensive team to get the Canadian fans excited. If it helps keeps the team in Buffalo there should be no argument about the Northern adventure...

Let's face it you have to be a real die hard Bills fan to enjoy the style of football that has been played over the last 10 years---dull---duller and dullest come to mind!!!

I started tracking the "When TO will go Off Pool"---fla-dennis had the first prediction. I will track and post before the opener.

From Chris Brownose's article today, it sort of looks like Shawn Nelson is out of the picture at tight end. Sad...I was having fantasies of Air Jauriel, with Nelson playing the role of Kellen Winslow. At this time of the year, I can even fantasize that Trent Edwards is Dan Fouts. That Chargers team was nothing but fun.

Getting back to the Bills, looks like Derek Schouman, Mr. Electricity, will be battling Corey McBicycle at the starting H-back position. If that doesn't get you pumped up...

My sources tell me that the Bills have hired Michael Vick to train our new pit bull O-line...and their intelligent, too...
