Amir--for the last time about Knox , 2 years before Knox the Bills were 5-23 then with ground Chuck the Bills went 5-11, 7-9, 11-5,10-6 and 4-5 (strike year). Are you going to argue with his success. 4 years after he left the Bills went 16-48 (The first year being 8-8).

You spoke of people learning from their mistakes (*42) or achievements why hasn't Ralph learned not to meddle in success and learn to enjoy it. Ex--Kraft with Pioli & Belechek, Irsay with Polian, The Rooneys, The Mara's etc. Why is it that successful people that leave the Bills seem to leave with hard feelings.

Where did you hear that Smith was the successor if he was he sure wanted no part of the Bills organization and left with Butler. Butler was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2002 a year after he left Buffalo and passed away in April of 2003. So he didn't leave to go home and die.



Anello summed it up in post #49. Ralph is what he is a good man but as Anello put it he would have been shit canned due to the results he has produced in other industries.

We can agree to disagree but as far as my being full of shit about Ralph I'll stick to my opinion and my facts---so there-Na na na!!!

A couple of questions:

1. You know those "punt-pass-and-kick" kids that The League trots out at halftime...the 11 year old boys and girls who have to shave twice a day...How many of them have gone on to become NFL starters? I think I remember one punter who was a p-p-k winner. Anybody?

The reason I ask is because the very least of the Bills problems is how far Edwards can put the shot. I mean when you don't have a legitimate NFL O-line, your players' arms are so short that they have to get their short sleeved shirts hemmed, their front four is shy three players, their best players play for other teams, Bong Mode is suspended, etc., etc., who gives an big eff that Edwards only has the 20th strongest cannon in the League? If the opponents' defensive coordinators have any brains, Edwards won't ever be vertical anyway.
