Goose, sad article...the season shouldn't look so bleak before it begins. I still think there's hope. I see Trent as the 'current' main problem. If your quarterback is afraid to raise his pretty little head and just take a peek further than 10 yards, your offense is going to be snuffed.

When Toe comes in, hopefully he'll catch a few 15+ yarders and help keep some drives alive. Just keep those chains a movin'. Eat up some clock. Put up 6 points and a PAT and get off the field. Let the defense do their thing, hopefully force some turnovers and you've got yourself a game! Simple...

Can the Bills really be this bad? You don't want to put too much stock into the preseason but this much ineptitude is hard not to be alarmed over. I agree with you Goose regarding the lack of emotion shown by the Bills players. Maybe it's just perception but they don't seem to play with the same energy as good teams do. The Bills may not have Super Bowl talent but I don't believe they're as bad as they look. At one time I credited Dick Jauron for geting the Bills to play above their talent level. But now that he has more talent on his roster he can't seem to get them to play to a higher level.
