T.O. Brings More than Talent (in a good way)

Buffalo Bills
We’ve all heard more than an earful about how Terrell Owens will kill the Bills’ team chemistry. T.O. will begin to gripe about his receptions. T.O. will chew out his quarterback leaving him in a pool of tears. T.O. will make friends on the defense and divide his team by making enemies on his side of the ball. And on and on… One thing that you ...

Good article. I said when T.O. was signed (after i pulled myself up off the floor) that with a team like the bills he can't possibly be anything but a good shot in the arm or a kick in the ass. I for one hope he speaks up after this weekends game if he only has 3 balls thrown his way again, win or lose. They can't let trance get comfortable with this constant check down shit or the DCs are gonna get wise and we will have a repeat of last year.
Maybe the best thing that came out of the Pats game was that our rookie TE actually made an athletic play or two for us. That has to be the first time that has happened this early in the season since Keith McKeller.

There is no doubt about TO's elite physical ability it's his inability to get along in the locker room that hurts him. The biggest problem is that he divides the locker room many players like him many players dislike him. It has happened on every team he has been on so it is no coincidence----there is the proverbial shit storm brewing on the Bill's horizon.

Biboy---good article, the elite athletes know how to take it to the next level and excel. I'll always remember Walter Payton running the hills then getting other players to join him ---what a leader. Nothing worst then seeing an elite player waste his talents and not have the inner drive to excel.

WankerBoy -- Is there any evidence to support your hypothesis? In all the years TOE's played in the league since '96, is there anyone that became a diamond through transpiration of TOE's work ethic and dedication to his craft? Anybody in SF that got better because of their exposure? Philly? Dallas?

You'd be hard pressed to find that person. What makes you think diamonds might be popping out as a result of him being in Buffalo?

I'd say there will be an improvement with our corners from having to go against him in practice, but it has nothing to do with how TOE approaches his craft.

Jimmy Hardly (thanks Anquan) will never improve because of being exposed to TOE... and the reason is that he's just too damn stupid to ever amount to anything. Remember the cardinal rule... You Can't Fix Stupid.

BTW -- Thanks for the article. Well done.
