The Bills v Dolphins match up is stunningly boring. Therefore, I've gone back to wondering how the Bills got saddled with Mummy Face. As I recall, Methuselah's head exploded over Tom Donahue. This part makes sense. Methuselah groped his way in his darkness over to Marv Levy. Very little else occurred within his cranium at the time, and less now....

The continuing debate on this site has been whether Ralphie is Cheap, stupid, and/or senile. Even though he has jettisoned overpriced personnel (Dockery, etc.), he has been spending on players, even though we might debate that he is spending too much on the likes of Denney and Schobel.

In regard to hiring talented coaching and front office personnel, do you think there is a store that you can go shopping and pick out top talent personnel?!? I know, Cowher and others are available, but do you think they are available because they are waiting for the perfect offer, or do you think they are available because they decided to get the hell out of the 80 hour week rat race?

I am not a fan of Dickie boy, but to think we could just go out and buy top talent is rediculous. Every owner that hires a new coach is stretching when he picks that person, whether it is a new guy who has never been a head coach or a guy that he thinks just needs a different organization (ie Bellicheat).

What do you suppose Marv thought his role was originally supposed to be? ...and why did he quit so soon? Was he just a "name", or was he actively involved in the McCargo/Tripplett/Whiner blunder that gave us the Marshmallow menace?
