Buffalo Bills
The Bills sit 3-6 and going nowhere fast, the 4th quarter has been their downfall. They have been out scored 101-40 or 11.2 points to 4.4 in the quarter. Game 1-- Pats 15 Bills 7 (L) Game 2 -- Bucs 6 Bills 13 (W) Game 3--Saints 17 Bills 0 (L) Game 4-- Phins 7 Bills 7 (L) Game 5--Browns 3 Bills 0 (L) Game 6--Jets 0 Bills 0 Bills won...

Goose: All true, but the Bills were crap the night before the season opener, they're crap now, and they'll be crap at season's end. For that matter, this is the tenth anniversary of crap masquerading as Bills.

My question: Did the Bills just start on the difficult path toward respectability, or did Ralph just hang some paper over the gaping hole in the wall?

Well Jauron is gone. You guys got your wish. Listening to Perry Fewell's press confrence last night and his lack of leadership and uninspiring answers to the media questions, the team will be in disarray and likely not win another game this season. I actually think a 3-6 record is pretty good for the talent level on this team. No coach is going to win in Buffalo unless there is better scouting and players. Guy should be out the door and Modrak is hanging by a thread. Now the question becomes do Ralph and Russ take advantage to secure the next GM and head coach now before the season ends? On the flip side, why would a hot commodity want to come to impoverished buffalo with a team in total disarray and who's future is in jeopardy when it's 91 year old owner dies. Not a good situation.

If you're any kind of coach; Buffalo IS a destination.

You get to start on the ground floor. Any 1st yr. mistakes are conceded and a given. There's NO pressure in comparing you to who use to be there. You get to shit-can any remaining players and coaches You don't think fit in your plan. If you don't meet with success in the 1st 3 yrs.; you just become another coach who didn't make it. But, if you start winning and competing with the top teams; the adulation is incomparable.
You're basically in a no lose situation.
