Denver Broncos
The message from the Denver Broncos-Oakland Raiders Monday night game? Simple: This is why you shouldn’t make predictions before Week 1. Reckoning that the Raiders’ new-look, all-star secondary would give Jay Cutler fits while the little-augmented Denver ground defense (30th in the NFL last season) would allow Darren McFadden, Justin Fargas...

As a long time Bronco fan, and will be one the rest of my life I was very optimistic about our offense, but cautiously optimistic about our "D", they did a great job against the Raiders, but the true test comes this Sunday against the Chargers and "LT". If our "D" performs this good at stoping the run and pressuring the "QB" then I will belive the improvement is for real. I hate to see any player get severly hurt.( Remember this is thier job and how they put food on the table for thier families, and yes they are paid wery well. Even if the player plays for a rival team we should never be happy when any player is injured severly, it is just good sportsmanship and just being a basicly good person) With the injury to Brady it changes the outlook of the whole AFC. The Patriots are still a good team, but the loss of Brady naturally it knocks them down a notch or two, but they are stil going to contend and affect the playoff picture this year. But after what I saw the Broncos do on Monday night I believe Cutler will be our "QB" for a long time and we have a very young team, so I think we will be a serious continder this, I see us being a cotinder for the forseeable future. I hope that Royals performance was not a fluke, because with Marshall, Jackson, Royal, and Schifler it gives Cutler a great range of targets. I know it has just been one game, but I have not been this optimistic after the first game in a long time. And opening a big can of whoop on the Raiders always brightens my week.

I'll tell you what, I know the defense looked solid and I know Eddie Royal looked like a tremendous talent and him teaming up with Brandon Marshall could be very scary. But the player that impressed me the most was Jay Cutler. This guy was scary good with a bunch of WR's that an average fan has probably never even heard of. If Cutler can continue to mature and develope a chemistry with Royal and Marshall, this offense is going to be one of the suprise stories in the NFL.

Yeah Jay Cutler is said to have a breakout season so if he can continue to perform well they should have a great season.
