Said (wrote) it before and i'll say it again: The Browns made a hell of an acquisition here, totally jobbing the Lions in this trade. Maybe stuff like this and the Moss deal of last year is the reason why name-player trades have been relatively infrequent in the NFL.

It says the exact reason why this is an overrated trade in the article. Rogers has intermittant brillance surrounded by weight issues and attitude problems. This is one of these trades where 9 games into the season, browns fans are going to so, "Oh. That's why the Lions didn't want him anymore."
