What is wrong with that statement? He didn't disrespect Strahan! He's saying what us Tampa Fans and football fans have been saying for awhile. He doesn't get the respect he deserves because biased writers like you won't give him the credit. 119 sacks in ten years and at the beginning he missed almost a complete season. He's on a record pace and where was Sapp or lynch the last two years? The only way for the cover 2 defense to work at a high level is with a dominate pass rush. Period! the defense struggled when Sapp and lynch left but last year finished the number 1 rated defense in the NFL. Simeon was a huge reason why. HUGE! Light years huh? WOW your bias. If Simeon plays for 19 years like Bruce smith did he has a shot. How can you so run your mouth like he's not the best? Who is then? He will pass Strahan period? Simeon had more sacks and led the number one defense in the league last year. I hope if simeon has a chance to break the single season sack record he will get a "gift" like Farve gave Strahan. I will never recognize that record because it's fake and you know it is!

Avg 11.5 sacks a year
9 more years at 9.5 sacks a year equals 204.5 very possible to get. Light years....I think not! Go back to writing for the NY giants and the National enguire because starting trouble and making up false reports is respected there. Strahan made NO bad statements about Strahan!

Simeon Rice is Simeon Rice, and I don't see the big deal where Strahan is so excellent, and other team mates don't make you great, they work as a team. Gifting and talent is just that, and Simeon has it over Micheal Strahan,quickness, physical fitness, and he hits the line with a science and art of a defensive lineman d/e

Simeon Rice is the greatest that has ever done it. Strahan needs to fix his teeth and step it up a little bit before he even gets mentioned with Simeon. He is the most athletic, gifted, and hardest working DE in football. Give the man his respect and wipe Strahans name from Simeon's list.
