The Chargers signed free agent return specialist Mark Jones, formerly of Tampa Bay, on Saturday. They also released CB Stanley Franks, G Charles Manu, RB Germaine Race and DT Keith Shologan. the 4 realeased where of no consequence and jones could be a contributor!

None of the four that were released will never contribute except on sepcial teams, and Mark Jones won't even contribute thta much on the Chargers because of Darren Sproles.

You would think but sproles (is that how it's spelled?) will be asked to be the back up to LT and give him the blows theat Turner did last year. I think it's a mistake but that's what a charger guy was saying on a raider site the other day. He thought it was a brilliant move by AJ?
