This is why the Chargers have a wide-open window. The offense can go through its tribulations, and the D will just keep on being a juggernaut, so even in an off-year, they do better than average.

This is what a good GM and front office can do for you. Good organizations always seem to have guys like Waters chomping at the bit to play. If he doesn't work out, there will be someone else, but these guys always seem to work out on good teams.

I agree with both of you. The Chargers are always going to be good because of the way they do their personnel moves.
