Except for JP LOsman, I can't think of a QB who was drafted in the first or second round that sat his first year who didn't play at least OK his first year starting . . .

Favre, Culpepper, Palmer, McNair, Pennington, Brees all played pretty well after sitting their rookie years.

Rivers will rule the world in a couple years, AJ will be crowned, LT will be king, and the Chargers defense will be what the Bears were last year. As long as AJ keeps his checkbook balanced, i dont see the chargers haveing less than 10 wins in a season for the next 4-5 years. By then LT will be 31 an gates will be 31 and Jamal Williams will be 36, Rivers will be 30 and Mcardell will be in a nursing home. Those are are our anchor players. Merriman and Castillo will be anchors sooner or later though.

J.P. Losman didn't actually have the luxury of sitting his rookie year did he? I thought that he started at least one or two games and played in others but I am not real up on the Bills.
