| LJ will be in July's training camp. First, Petersen loves him. Second, he is the "cog in the wheel" of the entire offense. Third, Petersen always takes his time with contracts (save the recent Gonzalez signing). LJ deserves a great contract and he will get one. This might also seem funny, but if you were LJ, and you love the spotlight, would you miss an entire training camp when almost every single minute of it will be broadcast on HBO? I doubt there will be any hold outs this camp for that exact reason. Who does not want to be a star on HBO? Sounds funny, but think about it......hmmm....could be a reason to not hold out? I think that when the training camp nears both sides will have some pressure to get a deal done. | ||

| I hope and pray that LJ get's a long term deal, we need him so much to help with bringing along Brodie Croyle, with LJ we have the talent to make the playoffs, without LJ it's tough to say but i think somewhere around 6-7 wins sounds about right, so pay the man he deserves it and Chiefs fans deserve to have their best player at his best come the start of the season. Go Chiefs, oh and i think Herm and Carl are doing a great job, people who think otherwise are idiots, the Chiefs are on there way up. | ||
