Finally an article that gives the chief's D the praise they deserve. This years D will be TOUGH they will finish in the top 10 if not the top 5!!! Oh yeah and oaklandfaider (cream of wheat) huh? Well that just means the faiders are shredded wheat because they've got shredded the last 14 times they tried to step on the field against the CHIEFS.

Good article. But I think it should have been mentioned that a strong running game tends to help a team's defensive stats by keeping the ball away from the opposing team. In 2007, if Larry Johnson holds out and if Priest Holmes is unable to perform behind an offensive line that has been hit hard with age and retirement, then I think KC's defensive stats will suffer, and all might not be as rosy as portrayed in this article.
