| Going 4-12 this year will ultimately work out for the best for the Chiefs. We needed a year like this to let Carl Petersen know that we are sick and tired of the mediocrity that has plagued this team for the last 20 years. Petersen has never had to answer to his fans like he has this year! Things are going to change I can feel it. I expect a much improved team over the next couple of years. GO CHIEFS! | ||

| Its more like 35 years although the Marty teams of 93-96 were legitimate, if imperfect, contenders. If Joe Cool had had another year or two in his tank who knows? Vermiels' '03 team was too one dimensional. You HAVE to have all three (four) parts (offense, defense, special teams, coaching) of a team working at a high level. | ||
