Clemson Tigers
Historically, conservative college football programs and their fans cringe at the very thought of using two quarterbacks in a game, thinking it’ll only confuse the offense and subvert leadership. Flawed thinking in today’s college football world, especially when more than a few schools have won big utilizing two signal-callers. Florida featured...

The only problem with the two-quarterback thing is that if you have one running QB and one immobile, drop-back passing QB, and you swap them out, then defense has a pretty good idea what's coming, especially when you put the running QB in. That's why I prefer Korn as the dual-threat QB all-the-time. That way the defense doesn't know what's coming. And even if it's a drop-back pass where protection breaks down, a dual-threat QB can make something out of nothing. For college football, I've always thought it's better to have a dual-threat QB, like Terrelle Pryor, Tim Tebow, Michael Vick, or Woody Dantzler. The problem with Tyrod Taylor & Pat White is that they can't pass. The problem with Harper (like Whitehurst before him) is that he can't scamble or run. Guys like Pryor, Tebow, Vick, and Dantzler can do it all, so they keep defenses honest (and break them). The season is lost, so season Korn.

Of course, by using both QBs, you keep them both fresh and less likely to get injured. This way, Korn gets reps without getting hurt (unless his O-line throws under the bus again.)

Just a thought. Harper certainly appeared to have more poise in the pocket vs. GT.

I never heard of QB's getting tired. About half the time they just hand off.
