| Venables is NOT the guy for Clemson, because of his porous defenses in the last 4-5 seasons at OU. He is merely the beneficiary of Bob Stoops' stellar program, riding stoops' coattails. Leave him at OU. | ||

| OU's defense is ranked about 50th in the nation. Granted, there are some great offenses in the Big12 (or maybe a lot of bad defenses). But from what I understand, many OU fans are unhappy with Venables and would be thrilled if Clemson hired him. It seems like Clemson could do a LOT better. | ||
