It was alarming enough that Clemson University decided to promote a leftover from its poor offense to be its new head coach. First off I for one thought Vic was a good DC. But his sit back and dont give up the big play has hurt Clemson in the pass years. Also your passing offence will not rank up top when all you do is Screen right and screen left. If you look at the recievers that Clemson has now when given the chance they will catch the ball. I agree with Dabo letting Vic go because he want a more get in your face Defence. All that said I just hope everything turns out for the good. If not we might can get Steve in about another year or 2 from SC.

The Clemson D was doing terrible the first half of this season until Dabo took over and told Koenning that he needed to bring the defenses up tight on the receivers. Following the order the Clemson defense shined the second half of the season. Sounds like Dabo knew what he was doing better than Koenning. Dabo will do well at Clemson. In the mean time, you might want to gather more facts before you put your foot in your mouth. Besides, Koenning is eyeing his alma mater's defensive coordinator position.

It was reported that TDP interviewed 2 minority coaches so don't even start that. TDP had no choice but to hire Dabo. He earned the opportunity going 4-1 the last five games of the season. I don't count GT because he had just taken over but even that game was very close.
