Cullen Harper led the ACC in passing last year despite playing behind a porous offensive line that let him get sacked 33 times. Korn and Parker are both intriguing talents but the fact is neither one of them has any relevant playing experience. High school football (even at an elite program) is a far cry from division 1 football. They both have a lot to prove before we can declare them to be better than Harper, Whitehurst, Proctor or anyone else.

Leading the ACC in passing doesn't mean anything. Also, as I stated in the article, most of his yards came against the patsies on the schedule.

According to my calculations Harper's average yardage against teams that finished as good or better than Clemson in 2008 was 197.9. His average against lesser opponents was 203.8. Not much of a difference. The problem with this team was the O-Line. With good protection he would have had a stellar year.
