Most recently, starting safety Michael Hamlin and wide receiver Rendrick Taylor both underwent foot surgeries. Taylor missed half of the year after breaking his arm but also required foot...

Injuries had nothing to do with stupid coaching (TB) decisions in the last two games.(SC& Kentucky). That, and sarcastic comments about players has to STOP.

While I do think injuries play a role in any team's success/failure, it was a much smaller role than people believe at Clemson. We had serious injuries from the start of the season, but if it was that crucial we would've never gone 7-1 in the first eight. It was clear to me we had solid depth to make up for the injury problem, but not enough to make up for bad coaching. Like Jim said above, very bad coaching is what cost Clemson 4 of the last 5 and almost cost them the 1 that they won. Poor coaching is Clemson's #1 problem right now by far. And a healthy team that stays injury-free plus solid recruiting classes will never overcome that.

We lost alot of great players last year, with Billie and Waters being the two that hurt most. I do think the outcome of the season would have been differant if we would have had both of those guys on the field. Also Coach Tommy Bowden/Rob Spence played really conservative after the Vtech game.
