Nice spotlight. It also helps with play-action passing to have a bruising back like Pearson who can either pound some yardage, or help with pass blocking, or slip through the line and catch a pass. Hopefully Spence will utilize Pearson (along with Davis, Spiller, and the receiving corp) to keep defenses off balance with running and play-action, rather than just bringing Pearson in for predictable between-the-tackles runs on short yardage situations (like Merriweather last season).

I personally have been a Pearson fan since he began in the FB position. Watching him make holes and disembowel LB's is just entertaining. He is definitely one of the unrecognized talents on the team.
