Oregon lost Heisman candidate Dennis Dixon for the season, as well as their game with Arizona and a shot at the national title. Oklahoma was anointed by several media for the championship bout with LSU, but they promptly got whacked by Texas Tech in Lubbock...

i totally agree that Illinois is underrated. it is not easy to go to Columbus and knock off Ohio State on their home field. I also agree that Oregon is going to go downhill really fast in the next two games.

As a Gator, I have to make the observation that the Gators would be favored in a bowl game against almost every team above them in the poll.
