Conference Power Meter: 1. Big XII. 2. SEC. 3. Big Ten. 4. ACC. 5. Pac-10. 6. MWC. 7. Big East. 8. C-USA. 9. WAC. 10. Sun Belt.

I'm surprised you would put the Pac-10 before the MWC, as far as I have seen the MWC has been superior to the PAC-10 this year, if you look at the records of the MWC teams and who they have beaten, including something like 6-1 vs PAC-10 teams, I think it points to the MWC being better, with maybe the exception of USC the PAC-10 doesn't have much going for it.

You have a good point. However, while this year's interconference record in 8 games clearly favors the MWC over the Pac-10, I am not convinced they are the better conference. I didn't base my Power Meter on precise head-to-head metrics, rather, it is based on my perception from analyzing hours and hours of college football this season. We'll have to see how the meter reads from week to week as the season continues to unfold.
