More weirdness from the Rodriguez regime

College Football
It’s hard to tell at this point how many football scholarships Michigan will have to offer next season to incoming recruits. It’s also increasingly hard to tell what the heck they’re doing with them. A few months ago, this wasn’t much of an issue. Ricardo Miller was spurning Florida for Michigan. Fred Jackson’s son Jeremy was in the fold....

Sounds like Michigan is covering all the bases and playing the game catch em if you can . If something else surfaces go with that. Recruits are running scared right now ad committing to whoever offers them a spot.

I agree offering a kid a spot than pulling away is a shady game. Michigan it seems will not go far this coming season. Only ones to blame? Themselves.

Scout.com listed a garish amount of UM offers that garnered some national attention a few months ago. I know recruiting is fickle and an inexact science, but the logic of offering kids and pulling the offers don't make a whole lot of sense. Things like this get around, and not in a positive way. It'd be so easy to recruit negatively to Michigan right now if you're another Big 10 school. This stuff may have flown at WVU where kids might hold out for a perceived "better" offer, but when recruits see Michigan offer...they don't hold out. I feel bad for this one player's prospects and feelings.

I agree with you on who they have to blame. Just look in the mirror.
