John, you say " In his previous three seasons, Colorado has posted a 13-24 record with no bowl appearances." Didn't you forget Colorado's 2008 Independence Bowl appearance against Alabama, a 24-30 loss that almost was a win against 'bama? I would think "Big Dan" would get some love from you for making it to a bowl -- why didn't he?

I apologize for my oversight, and I appreciate readers keeping me on my toes.

In my research, I misread a statement and forgot to double check it. That's no excuse for a journalist, but it sometimes happens.

I think my mistake proves one thing about bowls. In general, few pay attention to any of them except the BCS.
