I love the ESPN commentator Skip Bayless' view on this: The little kicker comes out onto the field to screw up the effort of the 11 REAL football players who got him there.

All too often, the kicker does just that, renders the herculean efforts of a running back, lineman or quarterback, completely worthless.

It is amazing how one player can go from the NFL and then out of the league very quickly. It goes to show you that just kick the damn ball and keep quiet. Nice article.
