| Randy, You have again written an excellent, very well written and informative article. It was a great game. One would of thought the Bears would of played a better game than the colts considering; the Bears are used to play in crappy weather. The colts were able to hold the Bear's defense and were also able to capitalize on the mistakes the Bears made. New Orleans was well represented in the game; one being what some were calling "The Crescent City Connection", when Manning connected to Wayne for a 53yrd touchdown. Also helping the colts with ties to the N.O. area were Rhodes, Addai , and Mc Farland. All four played a key role in the Colts' victory of the Bears. The 53yard touchdown by Reggie Wayne, Addai's 10 receptions and 143 all-purpose yards, Booger McFarland's third quarter sack of quarterback Rex Grossman was a key in helping the Colts achieve victory of Da Bears. Then there was Peyton Manning being named MVP for his steady and intelligent handling of the game. It was a great win for coach Dungy after all that he and his family have been through. Hopefully next year will be the Saints year to make it to the Super Bowl and possibly bring the Lombardi Trophy Home to New Orleans. | ||
