Passing on Mason Crosby didn't make sense. Crosby had a 70% touchback rate on kickoffs while Folk's rate was 59%. He is an extremely accurate field goal kicker with a career 76% conversion rate. So, he's better than Folk in both categories. With Crosby in Dallas, only one roster spot would be required for a placekicker. With Folk here, I think you will see that the placekicker position will absorb two valuable roster slots. Watch Crosby throughout his career, and this will be just another one of those Cowboys' draft picks that, in the future, will make the fans wonder if anyone was paying attention or just throwing darts at a board.

Wasn't Crosby kicking in Colorado where the air altitude who cause the ball to travel greater distance? When theye were head to head at the senoir bowl practices Folk was just better.
