Too much exposure for Cowboy stars

Dallas Cowboys
Spiting a rival is not enough motivation to win a football game. Neither is padding one's stats, apparently. The possibility of being the first Cowboys team to 14 regular-season wins would have been a nice accomplishment to see listed in a media guide a few years from now, although it was a hollow, futile prize for Dallas to pursue Sunday....

The "point" is that they have been playing badly and winning for several weeks now and they needed to get their act together going into the playoffs. The problem is that (like the writers on this site) most of the Cowboys are more concerned with preserving the appearance of "greatness" than with playing good football. There has been a dumb attitude that "a win is a win" all season and that poor play/mental mistakes don't matter. If Phillips is a good coach, he will be able to use that loss to convince those guys to start working hard again. If they don't get the message, they will have a quick exit from the playoffs.

There was no point to be made and they should have rested as many starters as possible after the first quarter. The Cowboys have been exposed for the last 4 games. Jason Garrett must install some new wrinkles into the offense and the defense must get tougher and not miss tackles.I am a true Cowboy fan, but believe we will lose that first game in the playoffs this year and most likely it will be against the Redskins, that are coming togather at the right time.

as a diehard cowboys fan for 31 years, sunday was as pathetic as i can remember them playing on offense, with our whole 1 yard rushing!we should have watched the giants tape before the game to inspire the coaches and players to go all out, after all these are the hated skins, our biggeste rival, going back to the early 70's and we had the chance to knock them out!now we probably play them as i do not see seattle winning!with julius gone in free agency we need that big time game changing back, sorry but barber is a good role player but not in same class as emmitt or a barry sanders!trade our 2 number ones.a number 2 in 2009, and a 4 in 2010 and get the rights to mcfadden!!!!!!!!
