Collapsing pockets lead to Cowboys’ playoff collapse

Dallas Cowboys
The offensive line never gets enough credit when its members do their job, while they're in turn singled out whenever their efforts fail. It's not fair, but the reason is that it's much easier to spot a whiffed attempt to slow a charging blitzer than a perfectly executed block that allows a quarterback to complete a perfect strike. Watching a ...

instead of wearing out the d line of the gmen on those 20 play drives, instead it looks like we wore our own big linemen out,who average 325.yes part of the blame goes to the breakdown in blocking in the 4th quarter, romo missing a couple wide open wr's,PENALTIES,PENALTIES,and several key drops by our wr's.i love the cowboys but please jerry jones keep your ugly mug offf the sidelines at the end of a game, unless it is the 4th quarter of super bowl and we have a 3 touchdown lead!!!!!!wade should be fired!!!does anyone think jimmy or bill would have given the players time off if they finished the season how they did again?we all know jerry gave wade the dreaded vote of confidence last week, now we will see how bad jerry wants to keep garrett!!our special teams needs a major overhaul on the coverage team which has been bad all season.i remember jimmy would sign vets who only specialized in special teams,it seems a lot of people underestimate a good special teams unit!!at leatst we moved up to 29th in the draft or 28 if sd pulls off the upset of the century.maybe we really don't need to package picks to move up for mcfadden after how barber played as a starter,we should spend the picks on improving the secondary and getting a good sized receiver, sorry glenn but it might be time to retire after he will need surgery again.keep the faith cowboy faithful!!

i knew it was gonna happen, romo blows it again, he now has replaced p.manning as the qb who can't win the big one...and now we are gonna lose garrett and we'll be stuck with wade, who i actually never wanted in the 1st place...i blame wade for not getting these guys ready during the bye week, thats the problem with a player friendly coach, no dicipline-no hard work!

Typical. The Giants play a great game and then we get an article about how the cowcrap offensive line doesn't get enough credit. Maybe the cowcrap should stop playing football and do personal appearance tours. I mean playing football seems to be getting in the way of what they do best. And I'll tell you this. Whatever coach you get is not going to make guys like TO and Romo have any discipline or hard work. Thats why Tuna walked away in disgust last year. With TO taking Romo under his wing and teaching him his work habits, expect it to get worse. If you want to know whats wrong with the cowcrap, ask yourself why they sent TO out there crying like a woman in front of the cameras begging everyone to not say anything bad about Tequila Tony after the game. The 2007 edition of the cowcrap was one of the most overrated teams in NFL history. You could see it in their whole attitude. As soon as they nailed up home field advantage, they stopped trying. And near the end of the game yesterday you could see that they were already going to the superbowl in their own minds before the game started and they couldn't understand how they could actually lose. Deer in the headlights. And thank you Wade Phillps for all those long slow drives not going anywhere that had the cowcrap offense totally exhausted by the fourth quarter. Thank you cowboys defense for all those dumb penalties. Here is a hint for next year. If your behind, you need to score points. Holding on to the ball and running down the clock is something you should do if your ahead. The New York Football Giants showed who the MEN were yesterday and now its on to the second most overrated team in the NFC. The Big Blue Wrecking Crew needs to put Farve's lights out and then its on to super bowl part 2. GMEN RULE!
