Miami Dolphins
With the NFL draft completed and the year’s first mini-camp set to kick off Friday, the time has come to stop looking back and begin to look ahead to what the new season will bring. Coming off a one-win campaign in 2007, and with approximately 40 new players in camp, there are more questions surrounding this year’s Miami Dolphins than there...

#2- I think Jake Long will fall somewhere between Thomas/Gallery - he will not quite be the pass blocker Thomas is, but I beleive he will be a better run blocker.
#3- QB situation is much better than last year- 3 guys that could blossom- there are no locks on who will make a good QB, so we have 3 good prospects - let them fight it out.
#4- don't count out Fasano at TE- I think he will emerge as the starter and David Martin will find himself out of here- Peele is tough and scrappy - he will win the # 2TE.
#5- RW is not coming off "years of self-destructive behavior" - I doubt he drinks, he smokes some pot- every time I see him in uniform I am amazed at what kind of shape he is in- I think, if he stays healthy, he will have a big year. Love the two draft picks- I think Mauia will be out of here because he is no threat as a receiver.
#6- thsi defense will be better- period. We are bigger, stronger, younger, and tougher across the board.
Can't wait for the season to start!

I think the Dolphins will be active in the annual garbage-picking that happens after final cuts are made in training camp. There will be players cut from top teams who are better than current Dolphins, so look for them to pick up a receiver or DB to add depth in late August.

I also think the secondary will be better just by virtue of the improved pass rush. When guys don't have to cover as long, suddenly they seem to do a better job.

For clarification, if marijuana is banned by the NFL and will result in another suspension for Williams, yet he "smokes some pot," by definition that's destructive to himself.

Other than that, your observations are spot on!
