Miami Dolphins
Entering the upcoming NFL season, the Miami Dolphins will desperately be relying on the legs of running backs Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Even with a new regime, there just aren’t enough weapons in place to revamp the offense. With that in mind, Miami can’t completely downplay the passing game. Brown and Williams won’t succeed if...

I really don't think any of the QB's on the Dolphins roster are even worth trying to develope or worth keeping. Unless John Beck does a complete turnaround this season, the best bet to win would be to start Josh McCown.

McCown hasn't gotten the job done on any of his previous teams. He does have experience, but not to much as a starter. The Dolphins experimented with Beck last year, but he looked like a chicken with his head cut off. The Dolphins are in for another world of hurt this season. The Phins do not have a decent QB, WR, or OLine, not to mention and aging and depleted defense, where their best player is 34, and would rather be Dancing with the Stars then playing football. If the Fish think that Beck is the answer, they need to let him go through the growing pains, and just throw away next season. He will not have any confidence if they are flip flopping between McKown, Beck and Lemons. Stick with one guy, Buffalo knew J.P. wasn't the answer, and they found the right guy in Trent Edwards, they let him go throw the rookie growing pains without having the quick trigger to go back to J.P. In the NFL today you need at least 2 qb's to survive an entire Season unless your the Colts or Pats. And it's only a matter of time before one of those 2 get's dinged up.

Either way Miami looks at it at the QB position they aren't looking good. Like you said McCown isn't a solid starter for obvious reasons. John Beck looked like a pop warner QB. Then if you put in Chad Henne with that OL and those horrible WR's he'd probably want to retire. Whoever the guy is that "wins" the quarterback job in Miami, good luck.
