| I think that physical capabilities and stats aside, the biggest issue the Dolphins had last year with their QB's was lack of leadership. The end of the Marino era saw the end of a true leader under center. A team can rally around a guy who believes he can win, but you just didn't see that last year. someone has to stand up and truly take command of the team and hopefully the rest of the guys will follow. | ||

| I don't think either of these guys is the long term quarterback, and even if they are the Dolphins have to improve in a lot of other places to be a playoff team. The Dolphins keep acquiring projects and castoffs (see Fiedler, Jay, Feeley, A.J.) and try to make them into the next "Dan Marino". McCown is part of the first family of backups, and John Beck might be solid, but neither of these guys are stars. | ||
