I agree with Spawn, Pennington is a huge upgrade from what they had. A rookie QB, John Beck who looked horrific last season and reports are it's not looking any better in camp, and Josh McCown, do I even have to say anything?

Well, now we know who the starter is.

With Pennington, McCown becomes extraneous. If they're really unhappy with Beck, they'll drop him for Henne and keep McCown as a backup (they'd have to be certain they didn't want him, as McCown isn't much of a backup). If they're still holding out hope for him, they'll let Beck and Henne compete to succeed Pennington next year and cut McCown.
