Miami Dolphins
It’s human nature for athletes in a race for a championship to look at their competitors to see how they do from game to game. After all, if the team you are battling for a playoff spot loses, then it can tend to take some pressure off you in your upcoming game. The best thing that head coach Tony Sparano can do for the 8-5 Miami Dolphins as they...

The 49ers are a tale of two seasons and their 2nd season is impressive. The 49er Defense has the personel to negate the run and cover the pass. In their 2nd season (last 4 games) the 49ers have averaged 25 points a game the Fins 19 per game. On the other side of the ball they given up on Defense 17 per game while the Dolphins have given up 19. If you average statistics Miami is on the short end of the stick, but that's why we play the game. San Fran has been turning it over, Miami hasn't. Special teams have improved for the Fish. MY prediction: If we don't have 2 turnovers, or a pick 6, or turnover score AND special teams play average no scores or Field position starting at the 45-50 yard line for consecutive 3 and outs game ends 19-17 FIN WIN. Ted Ginn is due for a home run in the return game. QB pressure from Miami's Defense to keep Shaun Hill out of rhythm, the Jets had 2 picks. Gore not a 100% is a tremendous break, he's defintely the wild card, which trumps the wild cat. Miami's TE's Fasano and Martin are going to be huge and Cobbs out of the backfield are the places their D maybe the weakest. To Dan Henning and Paul Pasqualoni I Trust. FIN FAN FOREVER

After watching the game against the 49ers one thing becomes apparent, if the dolphins want to make it into the playoffs the coaching staff needs to commit to the run. Ronnie and Ricky had very good YPC averages but the 9ers still owned the clock. The Dolphin's coaches have done a great job getting the team to play but they have fallen short on the play calling in my opinion. The future does look bright but if they want to finish this thing they need to run.
