Miami Dolphins
Bill Parcells has long been a master of evaluating talent in the NFL and he confirmed that notion during his first season in Miami. Parcells orchestrated the Dolphins’ transformation from doormat of the AFC East into what looks to be a constant fixture in the division. Parcells’ first move last offseason was bringing in general manager Jeff...

Naw! You've retired to Golf's Mecca. Your Golf Pro up the street is Tiger Woods. The pay is good and your Authourity is Absolute. The media isn't NY, and as King you get to choose your battles with the talking heads. The bean counters are impressed with your 2008 bottom line and salary cap numbers. Single handily you erased the QB issue in one season. You're first Pick in the draft as a Dolphin is a going to the pro-bowl, and looks as if it is going to pay dividends for 10 years. The whole team is plugged into your off-season program. A program which was #1 in the leauge if you measure it by injury reports. Your uniform has no premadonna's leading sports center in the post-pre season. Stephen Ross didn't get this far my not recognizing a good engineer or archcitect.

Good point about the Golf, Stefin. However, North Carolina has some fantastic courses too...
i would think he has good things going on in his favor down in Miami. He's in control and that's all he ever wanted anyway. The money might be better elsewhere, but at some point it would be nice to plant roots and even he might be thinking that.

Yes, Parcells has said he's committed to the Dolphins through the 2009 season. However, there was another change to his out-clause. Previously, he had to give notice within 30 days following the sale to Stephen Ross. However, Huizenga dropped that clause prior to the completion of the sale. Now, Parcells can literally jump ship at anytime and collect the entire remainder of his contract (not to say that he will leave).
