If Parcells is in charge, look for Miami to get defensive in the draft

Miami Dolphins
“As the Tuna Turns” is still being played out with the Miami Dolphins. Miami fans and the team’s owners, coaches and players are still awaiting a decision from Bill Parcells as to whether he will stay or go. The other major decision that awaits the Dolphins is which player to select with the 25th pick in the first round of April’s NFL draft....

I look for the 3rd pick in the Draft for the Dolphins to be a WR, at #57 on the Board. The first pick an OLine man, 2nd pick Defensive line man, linebacker, or shut down corner. As the Draft nears the Free Agents Miami signs from their own roster will determine which pick they excecute first. I can understand trading down. I believe if Duke Robinson is on the Board or Offensive line equivilant Miami moves to protect Chad Pennington and release a better down hill running game from Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Percy Harvin does qualify as that multi-talented player Parcells covets. In the end the trenches is where the battle is waged.

we were 10th against the run overall but outside of our thirty we were an embarassment. Any team we play can move the ball freely between their goal line and our thirty. outside of a guard (to help rid us of our run blocking shame) I hope we do not draft any other offensive player. Save the flash for when our defense doesnt embarass themselves when they take the field

I would hope they try and strengthen the D-line first. Then move towards the secondary and possibly a homerun receiver...
