Crowder never tested free agency, they resign him on the last day, hours before FA started...otherwise pretty good article..

MDFINFAN - you are correct, but essentially Crowder was allowed to get a feel for his value on the open market. It's surprising that he didn't at least entertain a few offers. There was a great deal of interest in him from several teams. Obviously he likes playing in South Florida.

Dolfan - I had some thoughts on Laveranues Coles being reunited with Chad Pennington in Miami. Given their chemistry with the Jets, I think Coles could have done wonders for a young receiving corps. I believe that content was cut from the article because Coles recently signed with the Cincinnati Bengals.
