Henne vs. White a nice subplot, but Pennington’s still the main story

Miami Dolphins
If Twitter buzz decided the Pat White-Chad Henne backup quarterback competition in Miami, we’d already have a winner. I performed a quick search Tuesday evening and found that there are roughly a dozen mentions of White’s name in the past 24 hours alone (nothing for Henne since Monday) on the popular Web site. The distribution is a bit more even ...

Look how can you guys be talking about the back up when the starting quaterback of the team was runner up to the MVP whats the knock on the guy? he doesnt have a strong arm? so what! in a whole NFL game how many time do you actually see the ball get BOMBED? maybe 5-6 times(by a team) and most of the time the ball gets batted down! in case no one knew out of all the long passes brett favre threw last season he barely completed as much as pennington! So he's the most accurate quaterback in NFL HISTORY and people are sitting here saying that he might want to accept a lesser role as a back up! this guy is a competitor and you cant tell when you watch him play on sunday and you see that look in his eyes! Im a dolphin since 2002 so you can say it was a preety bad time to start being a dolfan but everytime we played pennington he did us in.. So injury prone fine but till this day he has shown no signs of SOFT as a dolphin! GO Pennington I dont know if im the only one rooting for him to end his career as a dolphin! But these 2 guys behind him havent proven ****!

You are not the only one, brotha. I was as excited as anyone to see Pennington become a Dolphin....mostly because he wouldn't be a Jet and kicking our butts anymore. He is a class act and a proven NFL winner on and off the field. He is also 'game smart' and that is rare in this day of NFL qb's. he is still the best chance the Dolphins have until the other guys show they can move the sticks.
