Ask any NFL rookie about his transition from the college ranks to the pros, and he'll surely tell you that the game is far faster at the sport's highest level. This is true even for a speedster like Pat White, much more so because he is set on playing the quarterback position. Some fans and writers have gotten on White, a second-round pick of ...

Pat white has discovered that EVERYONE is fast in the NFL....it will take him some time to get over the fac that he won't be able juke, jive and outrun everyone. His best strength will be the head on his shoulders. If he is as sharp as they all say then he will learn how and when to use his mobility. Jason Campbell was ws another guy with mobility and and arm that has proven to be dead from the neck up...that guy will never get it and is why the Redskins have about 9 QB's on their team right now. I really don't see that happening with White, but he would serve himself well if he practiced at receiver too..

My god. The dude just got out of the draft a month ago. Give him time already.

Redskins with 9 QBs??

Who said he could catch? I hate when people say that if a QB is no good, then he should be a WR. It doesn't work out that way.

OK, Dolphins217....the 9 QB reference is what is called parody, a joke. As for white actually learning how to catch the ball, it's a good skill to have...ya know, helps the team. I too think the guy will be just fine as a qb and may very well be THE guy of the future, guess I need to dumb down my responses. Incidentally, Antwaan Randle El turned into a decent receiver after having been a QB & Heisman contender in college....it can work out that way.
